The council of KredEx that assembled on Wednesday, approved the possibility to provide loan, lease and bank guarantee guarantees in the total amount of 30 million kroons per company; previously the maximum amount was 16 million kroons.

The limitation of 16 million kroons to subordinated loans issued by KredEx directly to the companies continues to apply. At the same time, the target group of subordinated loan was expanded, which means that also large companies with 250 and more employees can obtain a loan from KredEx from now on.

The council also examined the not audited preliminary financial results of KredEx in 2008, but as the final audited report shall be approved at the beginning of April, the results can be published only then, Treier said.
