KredEx concluded a cooperation agreement with the Estonian affiliate of UniCredit Leasing

Today, on November 11th, the Estonian affiliate of SIA UniCredit Leasing and KredEx signed a cooperation agreement by which companies applying for leasing from the Estonian affiliate of UniCredit Leasing can use the guarantee of KredEx. KredEx shall guarantee up to 75% of the unpaid purchase price of leasing property.

According to Lehar Kütt, manager of the Enterprise and Export Division of KredEx, the guarantee of KredEx helps first of all companies with a short credit history, who operate in a risky economic sector, whose self-financing capability is small, or who wish to lease devices the realisation value of which is difficult to evaluate.

“A guarantee of KredEx helps to manage risks connected with the financing of companies, thus granting companies a better access to capital and more favourable financing terms”, Kütt added.

“As a part of leasing network covering 17 European countries, the Estonian affiliate of UniCredit Leasing wishes to support the competitive strength of Estonian companies in the common European market. A purpose to become an expert of industrial leasing in Estonia means a need for additional guarantees in financing activities. Guarantees offered by KredEx help us to offer financing solutions also for specific devices and technologies”, said Pille Parind, manager of the Estonian affiliate of UniCredit Leasing.

KredEx helps to improve the financing possibilities of companies, guaranteeing up to 75% of a loan or bank guarantee issued by a financing institution, or unpaid redemption price of leasing property. KredEx is offering subordinated loan to companies with good development potential having proved the functioning of their business model, and start-up loan to new companies.
