KredEx opens a new acceptance session of applications for local municipalities

KredEx opens a session of support applications to increase the municipal tenement housing funds for local municipalities. The local municipalities should submit the applications for receiving support to increase the municipal tenement housing funds to KredEx by October 22nd, 2007 at the latest. The application should be submitted in a closed envelope and sent either by a registered letter, express courier or hand-delivered. The envelope should include the applicant's full name, address and notes „Mitte avada”(Do not open) and „KOV toetus”(Local municipality grant).
The aim of distributing grants is to solve housing problems of people who belong to social risk groups and new labour force arriving to a particular region. The budget of application session is 29.4 mln kroons, out of which 24.7 millions are meant to solve housing problems of people who belong to social risk groups and 4.7 million kroons to solve housing problems of new labour force arriving to a particular region.
All municipalities can apply for support to solve housing problems of people who belong to social risk groups. Tallinn, Tartu and Pärnu cannot apply for support to solve housing problems of new labour force arriving to the region. Maximum support sums per one project / grant agreement and local municipality is 5 million kroons to create tenement houses for social risk groups and 1 million kroons to create tenement houses for new labour force arriving to the region. The extent of state support does not exceed 8,500 kr/m2. Applicant's minimum contribution is 50% of the total cost of the project.
In the last application session, which was carried out in January, this year, 10 applications were submitted, out of which 9 were allowed in the total amount of 23.9 million kroons.
