During 2002, already 257 companies have applied for KredEx's business loan guarantee from the banks; 73% of these projects received a positive judgement from KredEx. Together with KredEx's guarantee, the banks have issued loans worth of 455.9 million kroons to SMEs. The small and medium enterprises have used the money to expand and form more than 600 new jobs.

 

During 2001, KredEx made 86 business loan guarantee contracts with the banks; in the end of 2002, the number of contracts is already 159.
