On June 3, the Estonian Government appointed the target groups of housing loan guarantees that are counter-guaranteed by the state. The tenants of restituted buildings were also in the target groups, which gives them a better chance of getting the loan they apply for, since together with the state guarantee, KredEx's loan guarantee is more reliable for the financial institutions and enables them to offer loans, which involve a higher risk.
