KredEx stops issuing housing loan guarantees temporarily

KredEx has reached the limit of issuing housing loan guarantees counter-guaranteed by the state. The limit is 700 million kroons - by the end of July the portfolio of housing loan guarantees was already 650 million kroons. Unless the government changes the law and increases the limit, KredEx is forced to finish the issuance of loan guarantees to young families, young specialists and tenants of restituted buildings by September 30. KredEx has the necessary funds to issue loan guarantees up to 1.6 billion kroons if the limit is changed.
