This is a comment on the article in Äripäev where KredEx was seen as a state agency waisting money. However, KredEx is a self-sustaining fund and no allocations were made to KredEx from the state budget in the year 2001.
State agencies set up for business support KredEx and Enterprise Estonia spend considerable amount of money allocated for soft loans and other support instruments to Estonian companies for their own administration costs. This year the state has allocated more than EEK 500m for business support, of which 10% goes to officials distributing the money.
