Last year, KredEx issued grants for drafting building designs to 350 apartment buildings in total amount of 274,000 euros. In comparison to year 2010 the number of issued grants has increased more than twice. “As apartment buildings are more actively applying for reconstruction grant a prerequisite for which is the existence of a building design, the number of applications has quickly increased. We continually issue grants to apartment buildings for drafting of building designs, energy audits and expert evaluations of buildings,” said Mirja Adler, head of the Housing and Energy Efficiency Division of KredEx. Last year, grants for energy audit were issued to 624 apartment buildings in total amount of 207,632 euros, and grants for expert evaluation of buildings for 46 apartment buildings in total amount of 9,879 euros. Maximum grant amounts per one apartment building per one calendar year are 4,000 euros per building design grant application, 700 EUR per building expert evaluation grant application and 700 EUR per energy audit grant application. The European Regional Development Fund has allocated 1,597,791 Euros for financing of the grants in years 2007 - 2013.
