Last year the volume of loan guarantees and guaranteed export issued by KredEx was 840 million EEK in total. Enterprise loan guarantees were issued for 350 million EEK in total, and the volume of housing-related loan guarantees reached up to 290 million EEK. The 2007 financial result was a profit of 15.4 million EEK.

 With the support of loan and leasing guarantees and guarantees of bank guarantees of KredEx, entrepreneurs took loans in the amount of 737 million EEK from banks in 2007, by which 1,597 additional jobs are intended to be created. By areas, the loan guarantee of KredEx was still most used by companies connected with production activity, the share of which was 43%. From year 2001, KredEx has provided guarantees for loans and leasings taken by 1028 small and medium-sized companies in total amount of 3.3 billion EEK. The volume of the issued guarantees totals approximately 1.6 billion EEK. KredEx has helped to create more than 5,000 new jobs.

 Volume of the guaranteed export turnover in 2007 was 229 million EEK. 110 applications for export guarantees were submitted to KredEx and as of the end of the year, new export guarantee agreements were concluded with 41 Estonian exporters to guarantee the credit risks of 104 foreign buyers in credit limit amounts of 94 million EEK. The largest part of export was guaranteed to the United States - 33 million EEK, i.e. 14% of the total guaranteed export turnover.

 During the year the loan guarantee helped to obtain housing loans from banks in total amount of 1.18 billion EEK. In 2007, loan guarantee was used by 737 young families, 474 young specialists, and 6 tenants living in restituted buildings. From year 2000, 11,985 young families, 5,729 young specialists and 59 tenants living in restituted buildings have improved their living conditions with the help of KredEx.

 Last year the issuing of guarantees for apartment building loans was activated and multiplied. During the year, 137 guarantees of apartment buildings were issued, which is almost three times more than in 2006 (49). From year 2004, a total number of 228 apartment buildings have taken loans with guarantees of KredEx in total amount of 137 million EEK.

 Last year the amount of paid loss by KredEx was 8 million EEK. During the total operating time, KredEx has paid for loss in the amount of 54 million EEK. As of the end of the year, the estimated loss amount payable in the future was 23 million EEK (in 2006 19 million EEK) and the equalisation provision created to cover the unknown loss of future periods - 13 million EEK (in 2006 15 million EEK). The total calculated amount of technical allocations as of the end of the year is 48 million EEK or 4 million more than year before.

 KredEx was created with a purpose to improve the financing opportunities of small and medium-sized companies, manage credit risks connected with export, enable people to build or renovate their home and develop energy-saving way of thinking.
